Aphaia Labs takes its name from Aphaia (Αφαία [ah-FEH-ah]), an ancient Greek goddess and nymph of Aegina, revered as a protector who once vanished from sight to escape pursuit, becoming a guardian spirit known only by her unseen presence. In myth, she was linked to nets and safe harbors, offering protection without fanfare.

 

We embrace that legacy—quiet, steadfast, and effective—by providing early-stage founders with the unseen capital, expertise, and operator network they need to navigate challenges and seize opportunity. Like the nets of Aphaia, our support is felt when it matters most, catching what could be lost and helping each venture sail further.
